Prompt and accurate microbiology diagnosis is the cornerstone for patient care and tackling antimicrobial resistance. Strengthening Diagnostics for sEvere bacTErial infeCTions in Asia (DETECT-Asia) is a holistic regional effort to enhance the diagnostic capabilities of microbiology laboratories in Asia by ensuring timely, high-quality and sustainable diagnostics, and promoting antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship.
