"Dear ADVANCE-ID Team, thank you very much for this recognition. Being selected as SC of the Month is truly an honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the RAPID trial. Working with colleagues across the ADVANCE-ID network has been an enriching experience and has strengthened my commitment to high-quality clinical research.

I completed my Pharm D at Nirmala College of Pharmacy, Kerala, which provided me with a strong foundation in pharmacotherapy, clinical decision making, and patient centered care. This background naturally guided me into clinical research, where I felt I could combine my clinical knowledge with my interest in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

My experience with the RAPID trial has been particularly impactful. The study comes with tight schedules, detailed processes, and evolving requirements, and these challenges have pushed me to become more organized, proactive, and adaptable. One of the most meaningful aspects of this journey has been our team’s willingness to reflect, learn, and grow together.

Whenever we missed a patient or faced a lapse in recruitment, we made it a point to come together as a team, review what happened, identify gaps, and discuss how we could improve. These discussions were not just about numbers; they were about refining our approach, strengthening communication, and improving preparedness. Over time, this practice transformed the way we screened, followed up, and coordinated patient care.

Through these collective efforts, we developed a more streamlined workflow, improved our daily coordination, and became more efficient in capturing eligible patients on time. It also helped us anticipate challenges better, share responsibilities more effectively, and maintain a stronger connection with both the clinical team and the patients.

This continuous cycle of reflection and improvement has shaped how I view clinical trials as a whole. It has taught me the importance of consistency, collaborative problem-solving, and maintaining a patient-first mindset. Most importantly, it deepened my appreciation for teamwork because it is the coordinated effort of every individual that ultimately strengthens the quality of the trial and enhances patient outcomes.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, music, reading, and dancing, which helps me stay balanced, refreshed, and motivated.

To my fellow study coordinators: our collective dedication is what drives the success of RAPID. I truly value the collaboration and support within this network, and I look forward to continuing this journey together as we contribute to advancing meaningful clinical research."
